Infographic

This is my infographic. I decided to add the sun and beach scene to make the graph more visually appealing and I used bright colors for the word Cancun to emphasize where this trip is to. I then made the lowest prices a green color to really draw the viewer's eye to them.

Wanderer Logo

I wanted to create some designs with movement to really emphasize the word Wanderer. I then decided to add some color to two of the designs to help them really pop. My favorite logo features the two hikers because it's a nice way to put an illustration in and involve it with the text.

Adding Some Light

I thought this image was very dark so I adjusted the contrast and added more highlights to make each arm and symbol clearly visible.

Correcting Time

For this photograph I used the spot healing tool to remove all the holes and stains. I then lightened the woman's eyes to really make them pop.

Frantic Mess

I was given the word frantic for this assignment. I knew I wanted the entire background to be a collection of colors so I created 7 squares across and 10 squares down. I then made them all different colors. To really emphasize the word frantic I then took a variety of shapes and made those different colors. I then stretched some shapes out and shrank other ones down. I put them in a jumbled mess to make it look like they were just thrown on the page. I then included some shapes outside the frame so it looks like no time was spent arranging and organizing these shapes.

Black and White Composition

The first thing I worked on in this composition was my grouping of circles. I wanted the circles to overlap and I used the transparency tool to create a nice pattern that leads the viewer's eye in a nice diagonal line. Then the viewer is drawn to the black box with a white outline in the bottom center of the page. I used a white outline around these squares to really make them pop from the background. I used the rotating tool to create a nice curving line with the squares. I then tinted each square by 10% as they rose up the page. I then added a gradient to the background to really make my shapes pop. I kept my composition simple but I feel like it leads the viewer throughout the whole page in a successful way.
